Apple_Bonjour_IconBonjour is a protocol that allows to locate devices such as computers, printers, connected objects, and the services that those devices offer on a local network. The recent firmware upgrade has enabled this protocol in Krika.

Widely implemented by Apple, Krika offers now a better Apple devices recognition and can distinct precisely the following Apple products :

  • Apple Computer
  • Apple Airport
  • Apple Airport Express
  • Apple Airport Extreme
  • Apple Time Capsule
  • Apple TV

For Wi-fi enabled Apple products, Krika shows when available the SSID, the Channel and the firmware. When available, Krika shows the USB printer name.

New icons appear now in the dashboard and provide better devices identification. Let’s review what you can get.
